A Utility Terrain Vehicle appears to have rolled off a trailer and into the facade of the West Coast Grill at Harvey Avenue and Abbott Street, at about 4 pm., Tuesday.
According to West Coast Grill, no one was injured in the incident, however, the patio will be closed for the rest of the day.
RCMP cruisers are blocking the westbound and eastbound turning lanes from Harvey onto Abbott.
The UTV appeared to have come loose, sliding backwards into the building that houses the Prestige Beach House Hotel and West Coast Grill, damaging the facade around the patio.
It is unclear what caused the incident to happen or how long the road will be blocked while emergency crews are on scene.
Traffic is backing up in both directions along Harvey, causing congestion during Tuesday's evening commute.
