A tent went up in flames Friday afternoon along Â鶹AV’s Rail Trail.
A black cloud of smoke could be seen rising from the area of Tent City at about 2 p.m.
The tent was completely destroyed by fire.
There didn’t appear to be anyone inside the tent at the time of the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Fortunately, the flames did not spread to other tents or grass.
Residents of Tent City extinguished the blaze before fire crews arrived on scene.
