The Regional District of Central Okanagan asks that the public stay out of Rose Valley Regional park and observe all barricades and signs.

Rose Valley Regional Park in West Âé¶čAV is closed from April 16-30 for the removal of wildfire salvage harvested trees.

Closures includes the previously reopened Yellow Bell Loop, the Bunchgrass Trail and all parking lots. The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) asks that the public stay out of the park and observe all barricades and signs.

“Tree hauling is a critical step as we move toward parkland restoration,” says Wayne Darlington, manager of parks capital planning and asset management. “Above average spring precipitation has delayed our progress. We remain committed to reopening the park as soon as possible.”
