Plans for two six-storey residential/commercial buildings have been submitted for the old Â鶹AV Farmers’ Market site.
The market left the site on Springfield Road, across from Orchard Park Mall, in October 2023.
It had spent 25 years in that location and moved to a new venue in the Landmark District in April this year.
Plans by Empowered Development Ltd. for the multi-family project at the Springfield Rd. location include a rental building with 169 units and a condo building with 125 for sale units.
The unit make-up for both buildings includes micro, and one and two-bedroom suites.
The proposal has yet to be presented to city council.
