Itâs time to lace up the skates.
Stuart Parkâs outdoor skating rink opens for the season on Saturday, Nov. 30. The rink will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., except for maintenance on Mondays from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. The season will run through late February, weather permitting.
âWe know residents look forward to the Stuart Park outdoor skating rink each and every year,â said Steve Hebden, recreation facility operations supervisor. âCrews are in the finishing stages of creating the ice, including a fun nod to Âé¶čAV hosting the 2025 Brier, and we look forward to seeing our community come together to create lasting memories on the ice.â
The ice surface includes custom rings in recognition of the 2025 Montanaâs Brier curling championship, which Âé¶čAV will host in February.
A live cam is available on the to check ice conditions or weather-related closures before heading out. Skates will be available to rent on-site from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, except on December 25, when the rental shop will be closed. Helmets are encouraged, and visitors should follow all posted rink rules.
