A Âé¶čAV woman has started the new year with an incredible windfall, winning $250,000 on a BCLC Wish List Scratch & Win ticket.

Jerri Ehret said she was stunned when she realized her good fortune. “I was in complete disbelief,” Ehret said, reflecting on the moment she saw the prize amount. “I couldn’t even say how much I had won!”

Excited to share the news, Ehret called her older sister. “She was like, ‘Are you kidding?’” Ehret recalled with a laugh.

Ehret says she plans to use part of her winnings to surprise her children and will set some money aside for their future. She also looks forward to treating herself to a new vehicle.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Petro-Canada station on Lakeshore Road in Âé¶čAV.
