Â鶹AV RCMP and firefighters are investigating an incident at an apartment building in the North Central part of the city.
Neighbours on Kelglen Crescent told Black Press Media that police and firefighters have been on scene early Monday (July 6) morning, focusing on a particular unit in the building.
The BC Coroner Service also attended the scene.
Â鶹AV RCMP confirmed that they responded to a report of a deceased man in the 1200 block of Kelglen Crescent at approximately 9:23 a.m.
"The death is considered not suspicious and there is no concern for public safety," police said in a statement.
