West Âé¶¹AV firefighters will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations to help those in need this holiday season. 

West Âé¶¹AV Fire Rescue (WKFR) is hosting its 27th Annual Holiday Food Drive to support the Central Okanagan Food Bank. 

Firefighters will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations to help those in need this holiday season. 

The will visit homes to collect donations on the following evenings:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.;
  • Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

If you miss the door-to-door collection, you can drop off donations until Jan. 5 at these locations:

Station 31 - 3651 Old Okanagan Highway (Westbank);
Station 32 - 2708 Olalla Road (Lakeview Heights);
Station 33 - 1805 Westlake Road (Rose Valley);
Station 34 - 3399 Gates Road (Glenrosa);
City Hall - 3731 Old Okanagan Highway.

Every dollar donated gives the food bank $4 in buying power, making your contributions go even further. Your generosity can help brighten the season for families in need.
