North American auto repair chain CARSTAR opened the doors of its new Âé¶čAV location on July 6.
The auto shop used its grand opening as a starting point for giving back to the community with a charity car wash in support of the Âé¶čAV Minor Football Association and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
Members of minor football joined the auto team to wash cars at the new CARSTAR location on Leathead Road.
âIt was a terrific day marking this occasion with the team and seeing the community come out and support a local business and these causes,â said Ed Comerford, area manager of operations for CARSTAR. âThe team in Âé¶čAV is unmatched and it was great to be a part of this energetic day and cap it off by surprising the Âé¶čAV Minor Football Association with the BC Lions signed ball."
Over $2,000 was raised for the two organizations.
