Through the month of March, TD Bank and Dress for Success Âé¶čAV are looking to celebrate the women in the community with the 4th annual Your Hour Her Power campaign.
The initiative will feature 30 women on social media, telling their stories and offering words of inspiration, and fundraising to support Dress for Success Âé¶čAV as it helps women reach employment and financial goals.
âThis campaign is about more than just raising fundsâitâs about creating opportunities today so that future generations of women arenât still waiting for equality,â said Lori Stevenson, Executive Director of Dress for Success Âé¶čAV. âProgress shouldnât take generations. Every donation, every sign-up, and every story shared brings us closer to a world where women can thrive independently, and our communities are stronger for it.â
Dress for Success Âé¶čAV client Ghazal S. expressed her gratitude for the program as a newcomer to Canada. âTheir support went beyond professional clothingâit was about empowerment, confidence, and community. I gained not only practical skills but also a renewed belief in myself and my ability to thrive.â
Your Hour Her Power aims to raise $45,000 and is asking community members to donate just one hour of their salary pay in support.
Those interested in can do so online.
