Work on expanding Big White's bike trail network focuses on improving rider flow, and adding new features, and terrain for beginners to seasoned shredders.

Big White Bike Park is ripping into summer with plans to grow its trail network.

The work started a few weeks ago, and this year’s focus is on improving rider flow, and adding new features, and terrain for beginners to seasoned shredders.

Riders can check out updated versions of Gecko and Squirts, plus newly shaped berms before the Insta360 wall ride and a new addition on Stacked Deck. More tweaks are underway on Slabbath and Hubba.

The biggest project this season is a new blue flow trail starting near Rhonda Lake Road and finishing at the Joker hub. This trail will include a standout wooden feature and eventually connect with Stacked Deck to create a longer ride.

Above TELUS Park, a new skills area is in the works with three progressive lines—blue, black and double black—featuring elements tailored to each level.

New this year is a small skills park in the heart of the village. It’s designed to help beginners gain confidence before heading up the lift to the main park.

A new single-track trail is being cut near the top of Dark Roast in the Spruce zone. It’s a longer-term project with an expected opening in summer 2026.

“We’re really excited to bring these world-class trails to life,” said Drew Gobeil, patrol director. “The build team is working hard to open them as soon as possible. Please remember to stick to open trails and be courteous to others in the park.”
