Big names in Okanagan restaurant industry added to Hall of Fame

More than 20 individuals and organizations are being inducted in 2024

The BC Restaurant and Food Association has announced its 2024 inductees to the Hall of Fame.

The BC Restaurant Hall of Fame recognizes individuals and organizations that have made lasting impacts in the industry. 

More than 20 inductees are being added in 2024, including a few names from the Okanagan. 

Âé¶čAV culinary chef Jeremy Luypen was chosen for Leading Employee/ Manager for Back of House, Tony Stewart with Quail's Gate Estate Winery has been inducted under Supplier, and Chef Dan Carkner with Modest Butcher is a Local Champion inductee. 

“Each of these inductees has made significant contributions to our industry, and it is an honour to recognize their achievements and dedication,” said Ian Tostenson, President and CEO of the BCRFA. “Their passion, innovation, and commitment to excellence exemplify the best of what our industry has to offer.”

The BC Restaurant Hall of Fame will hold an induction ceremony on Oct. 21 in Richmond.
