Alfie Zappacosta, who enjoyed commercial success in Canada in the 1980s and 90s with his band Zappacosta, is coming to Â鶹AV next month.
The Canadian-born singer and musician will perform Friday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. at the Â鶹AV Forum, 1317 Ethel St.
Over his 40-year career, has written and recorded a number of hits, including , Nothing Can Stand In Your Way (co-written with David Foster) and Overload from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack.
Letter Back reached No. 24 on the Canadian charts in 1990.
After releasing his self-titled album in 1984, Zappacosta won a Juno Award for the Most Promising Male Vocalist.
