The Cochrane, Alta. RCMP is thanking the public after locating a missing mother and daughter last spotted in Courtenay.
The 30-year-old woman and her daughter had last been seen in Cochrane, Alta. on July 12. Police issued an alert July 23, saying the woman was last seen at an ATM on the Island July 18.
"Thank-you to everyone who assisted with this investigation, including our partners in B.C.," Cochrane RCMP said in a news release issued early July 24.
