The 2024 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign was a huge success in Âé¶čAV.

A total of $25,717 was raised for JoeAnna's House, a place supporting out-of-town families with loved ones staying at Âé¶čAV General Hospital.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the continued support from local Tim Hortons locations and our community,” said Darlene Haslock, Director of JoeAnna’s House. “These funds will be essential in helping even more families in need of a home away from home. Your support will provide families with comfort, support, and a sense of relief during some of their most challenging times."

The need for JoeAnna's House has been increasing and Haslock said it has had to turn down nearly 1,000 families. These funds hope to change that as the house looks at a $5.3 million expansion to accommodate more families.

The cookie campaign ran at participating Âé¶čAV Tim Hortons from Nov. 18-24. The 2023 campaign brought in around $18,000.
