The Penticton Tennis Club is holding its annual junior tennis camp for the 2025 season.

More than 40 tennis players, from as far as Vancouver and as close as Naramata, have packed Penticton courts this month to mark the start of an annual summer program.

The Penticton Tennis Club (PTC) recently wrapped up the first week of its junior tennis camp.

Players from Penticton, Okanagan Falls, Summerland, Naramata and Vancouver have participated thus far, according to the club. Sessions are taking place at 675 Marina Wy.

The camp's five assistant coaches went through the junior program themselves and now play in the PTC high-performance division.

"It goes without saying that we are so proud of our junior coaches," the club said in a release.

"The PTC would like to thank all of the parents for allowing us the opportunity to work with their children, to develop their skills and instill the love of the game."

Club officials are encouraging others to join in on the action this summer.

There are still spots available for the camp's second week (July 14 to 18) and third week (Aug. 11 to 15).

People are asked to contact PTC at for more information.

Camps run Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
